Holiday Sandy Relief Fundraiser Event for Hope For Them

I was amazed by all the talent's professionalism and dedication. Grammy nominee, singer Maiysha mesmerized opening the night,  host Tamara Tunie, Tony Award winner, actress (flight, Law & Order) took charge like a general, making the evening move forward timely and flawlessly. Lynn Childers accepted the Hope For Them award for her husband Sam, former Motorcycle band member, founder of Angels of East Africa for his humanitarian work, rescuing children in Nimule, the war zone of South Sudan that was followed a presentation of New York Cares.

Roderick Covington sizzled opening the 2nd half of the program with an amazing energy bringing the house down accompanied by his band Musaic aka 4 jews and a brotha. Brandon Schraml caused complete silence within the audience introducing a powerful Javert with a passionate delivery of the song Stars (Victor Hugo's Les Miserables).  Erica Ferrari (Reporter Current TV & anchor at CBS Money Watch) threw in a very nice sense of humor, closing the evening on a meaningful note.
